My Entitlements

Sorry, junior. No matter how much you want it, I don't swing that way.

You are simply childish for wanting it all to be so easy.

Like I said, learn a skill and no one can take that away from you. But no. You want to do mindless work and get endless praise, in addition to high wages.
Yes if I work I demand to be able to eat more than potato chips once a week.
Thank you very much.

I kinda doubt you ever worked and ate only potato chips once a week.

What skill do you provide your employer?? What do YOU bring to the table to make you worth money and praise? It is certainly not your sunny disposition.

It just amazes me how far this country has fallen.

I am 68, own my own business and average 50 hours a week at it. I work my tail off and have doing so since I was 16. I employ some great people who also work hard, and who have a terrific work ethic.

We are now at a point where worthless parasites feel ENTITLED to the product of my own work and the hard work of those I employ.

There is something seriously fucked up with that.
I can relate.
When millennials became old enough to get seated into the economy - we thought they were bad. Thought they were too entitled. We had no idea what was to come.
Gen Zs are monumentally worse than millennials.
Gen Zs are pathetic, lazy brats who honestly believe YOU, the employer, are there for THEM.
You are supposed to provide all manner of ways for them to not have to work to hard, but pay them well enough to live like you do after working for 30 years.
The "Quiet Quitting" movement is very real and is how MOST of GenZs see their employment.

I was a forklift driver in your red arkanstupid for $11 an hour, and a janitor at the University of Arkanstupid, equal to kindergarten here in New Hampshire...
For $12.50 an hour...

Never again will I accept that shit pay for such work.

And I bet the cost of living was a lot lower too.

Ok, so you can drive a forklift. Not a huge skill, but something. The last time I drove a forklift for a living was more than 20 years ago. I made $17 an hour. No telling what it is now. Of course, I had additional certifications besides just the basic forklift.

I'm not generation Z...
I'm generation Y.. with boomer, silent and X influence more than a lot of others my age.
:)

You have more influence than a lot of others your age? LMAO!! You need to have your hand held by a work mommy just to do menial labor. You have no influence.

Low cost of living = you get what you pay for..
In Arkanstupid, I paid shit so I got shit.
Lol

I'd rather get by than be a slave who can lose everything in a hillbilly's heartbeat.
:)

I started out learning. I barely got by. Until I knew what I was doing and started working with the skills I had learned. Those skills cannot be taken away from me.

So I worked and saved my money. Then bought a bucket truck and the gear needed to work as a subcontractor with my own company. After that it was a steady climb. Not by whining, but by providing quality work for who ever was paying.

Probably shouldn't have stayed there, huh?

And you can't blame Arkansas. Obviously you left there and are still in the same bad shape.

I'm getting a subsidized apartment in downtown Manchester.
:)

I apply tomorrow...
A 3 month waiting list.

And I am sure it is a paradise. I bet your neighbors are fascinating people as well. Do you get together and cookout?

You are surviving, and only that. It is pitiful.

Oh, so you don't actually live in a subsidized apartment. You just WANT to live in a subsidized apartment. And you hope there is an opening and that you qualify.

The city life isn't about a cookout...
It's about the cook in, at the restaurants.
:)
