actually, no she would't be justified. there have been many women jailed for killing their batterers and battered women's syndrome doesn't necessarily act as justification for killing. there has to be an "imminent threat" same as with all self-defense... and being hit isn't justification for deadly force. also, anyone who knows anything about battered women knows that most aren't capable to fighting back because they have to be emotionally beaten down before they are physically beaten down.
