One of my clients killed his wife because she thought their 16 year old daughter could date. He cut her head off and dumped the body. He wanted to show his daughter what happened to disobedient women. Oddly, he thought the complaint against him was concerned with the legality of the marriage not the murder of his wife. As soon as he explained to the judge that his legal marriage gave him the OBLIGATION to kill his wife he would be freed. No country would be so barbaric as to punish the death of a disobedient woman.

I forget the name of the judge, but she was a 300 pound black woman who wasn't buying it at all. The man and woman composed jury found him guilty and the judge gave him life.
