Musk promises Economic "Hardship"

Why didn't Trump replace Lead water lines poisioning our citizens lowering our IQ? Now he is concerned about Flouride? LOL!!! You believers are so stupid!
Are you talking about Democrat-controlled cities like Flint, Michigan, and claiming they are responsible for Democrats being retarded???

I don't disagree about that, but maybe also that tech allowed the people in NC to have Starlink while the govt was doing nothing
The government pays people to set up communications centers in disaster areas and they use several companies....

The Bureau of Efficiency is already inefficient since it needs more than one person to manage it.
This is Trump adding more government agencies to explode the size of government again like last time when he made government spending 55% of the US economy attempting to buy the 2020 election.

What is more amazing is the blind devotion his followers have it is true Trump is a zombie master.

Goody. Cut the Dept of Ed and send all that money to the states.
And then let the states decide on the curriculum, and drop all the social warrior justice crap. If California wants its students to be able to compete with kids from Florida for college slots, they’ll focus on basic academics instead of the CRT-influenced stuff.

Sure he did...........But there is more.............

Elon Musk's “Free” Internet for Hurricane Victims Has a ...

A paid residential subscription costs $120 per month, a significant upcharge from a typical internet service, which could cost around $40 per month. So Musk's ...

Last week, Starlink posted a link on X to a website explaining its offer to those seeking Hurricane Helene relief. “For those impacted by Hurricane Helene, or looking to support response and recovery efforts in affected areas, Starlink is now free for 30 days,” the post read.

Musk reshared the post, adding, “Starlink terminals will now work automatically without need for payment in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene.”

A closer look at the website, though, shows that the offer comes with a few caveats.

“Please note: A Starlink kit is required to access this free service. If you do not already have a Starlink kit, you will need to purchase one,” the site explains.

So how much exactly does a Starlink kit cost? New customers will still have to pay close to $400 for a Starlink kit, including shipping and tax, according to Gizmodo. Starlink has also warned of significant delays that may prevent orders from arriving for weeks, and encouraged those seeking its services to buy a kit from retailers such as Best Buy or Home Depot. There, the kit will cost more like $350 not including tax.

But that’s not all users will have to pay. “After 30 days, we will move you to a paid Residential subscription,” the SpaceX site reads. A paid residential subscription costs $120 per month, a significant upcharge from a typical internet service, which could cost around $40 per month.

Musk is a grifter, just like Trump.

The states do decide on the curriculum with industrialists guiding them.

Well initially the government subsidized Starlink on the condition that it provided a certain quality of internet to those rural communities and Musk took that money and provided subpar service which is why Starlink no longer qualifies. Basically Musk is the waste he's complaining about. He took tax payer money on the promise to provide service of certain caliber and cheaped out on it. The government does subsidies other, better run companies who actually do the thing we pay them for. The real problem whoever isn't that Musk is a grifter, the problem is that they're all grifters. Even the ones doing what they're supposed to do. Why are tax payers subsidizing these private companies to the benefit of their shareholders and CEO to provide services that tax payers still have to turn around and pay for?

None of those cuts will likely go to the billions he gets.
Sure they will. We can do that simply by cutting redundant jobs. The cost of the federal workforce is $270 billion (salary and benefits), so reducing the headcount by 20% (and requiring the remaining workforce to out in full days like in the private industry) saves more than $50 billion right there.

Then consider the overall government expenditures: $7 trillion. If we can cut even 1% of the wasteful spending, that’s another $70 billion.

The real question is can they get to $1T? They’d have to cut more than 10%, and that would be a stretch. But at least we’d be heading in the right direction.

And then let the states decide on the curriculum, and drop all the social warrior justice crap. If California wants its students to be able to compete with kids from Florida for college slots, they’ll focus on basic academics instead of the CRT-influenced stuff.

100% absolutely this.

Jul 4, 2010 — The author of the Declaration of Independence warned against the threat to democracy posed by big banks and big corporations.

He was, as well, a relentless critic of the monopolizing of economic power by banks, corporations and those who put their faith in what the third president referred to as “the selfish spirit of commerce (that) knows no country, and feels no passion or principle but that of gain.

In the early years of the 19th century, as banks and corporations began to flex their political muscles, he announced that: “I hope we shall crush… in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country.”

Just like Trump and Musk.

OK….I’m back with some math:

It would take a cut of 14% in government spending to cut $1T of the $7T now being spent. Considering how bloated the government is, and how much redundancy there is, this could be accomplished in 10 years.

List of government departments:

Maybe you would prefer Biden's "job creation", and work two or three of those new low-paying part-time jobs to make ends meet!!!

The problem is that the people are being conned by the rich. You think this or that will work, but it won't, not for you anyway, it'll only work for them. Income inequality is rising and rising and rising because the rich are in charge of everything.
