Musk Feedback on Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill"

When Musk was tasked with weeding out the waste and fraud so the government could save money, only to find out the government is going to spend more money, it doesn't matter what Elon says about it. What should be the concern of everyone is that the government is going to spend more money.
That's Elon's point.

He's literally just the messenger. Don't overlook the message.
All the Democrats think when they heard this is - AUUUGGHH!!! ORANGE MAN BAD!!! LOOK EVERYONE!!! I TOLD YOU !!!!!!!! AAAUUUGH!!!!

Not thinking WHATSOEVER about the fact that Biden added $7.4 trillion to the national debt. There is no cure for this kind of blind stupidity.

One side will only condemn the other but then bend over when its "their guy" which is why we are $37 trillion and growing in debt.

You also need to prove that I defend Democrats.

There has not been one single post of mine where I defend the Democrats. I am an independent that criticizes all, when something wrong is done. As such, I am not partisan in any way. I am a person that deals with data, statistics and facts and everything that I talk about is based on that.

As such, I defend all people (not just the Democrats) when an injustice has been made about them. I criticize all when they have done an injustice.

I guess the question is what you think an injustice is? Because the left will claim something retarded is an injustice. EI: calling trans people weirdo.
The MAGA people will claim that Thomas Massie is a grandstander. And that his vote against Trumps big beautiful buttfuck is an "injustice."
US fiscal conservatives will say that increasing spending and the debt ceiling, is an injustice.

I haven't read a lot of your comments to know what you would call an injustice. But if you side a lot with the democrats, your independence is retarded. If you side with the MAGA people, then your independence will be just as retarded.

I can't stand either side. But I'm 100% a fiscal & constitutional conservative. You may think that's retarded.

I never understood those who would do this but then find painting one self orange as normal.

Meaning that if the Democrats do it, it is okay for Trump to do it, right? If that is what you believe, then you have no right to criticize the Democrats, given that you support Trump doing it.

That seems to be the going thing with Trump supporters.

They screamed bloody murder when Biden cut off Russian oil. Trump hasn't lifted the ban and it's crickets.
They screamed just as loud when Biden sent aid to Ukraine. But now that Trump is doing it, once again, they say nothing.

But the same thing can be said from the opposing angle.
When the left assaulted our 2A, democrats were all in.
When Trump did it (twice), the left didn't give an ounce of praise.
When he tried to give blacks $500 billion, just for being black (the Platinum Plan), it was crickets from the left.

I never understood those who would do this but then find painting one self orange as normal.

Understand what? Real political independence? Or fiscal conservatism?

Lets see you. Condemn Obama for spying on Americans Unconstitutionally and filing Wall Street coffers with billions of dollars.

Trump did the same thing. And just like the Obama-turds, Trump supporters said nothing.

Political loyalty is killing this country.

Again - you show your blind bias.
What I am saying is that neither party has a market on lying to us.
-WASHINGTON - BOTH PARTIES - Have systematically put measures and policies in place that have thoroughly fucked the middle class in order to build and maintain a small elite group of people that are exceedingly rich and own everything. It is called Corporatism, and it has completely taken over both parties beginning in the early 80s/late 70s.
All of this partisan mud slingling and -NEVER - looking at your own damn corrupt party is why they have been able to do this to us, and will continue to do it until there are no privately owned businesses left. And, thanks to Obama and companies like Blackrock they are working on owning all of our homes now as well.

I agree with your statement. Having said that, it is human nature to do that, meaning that among all those liars, we need to chose the ones that lie the least and to more good than bad.

Imperfection.webp

I base my judging ability on morals, ethics, principles, humanity, human rights, and what has worked in the past (likely to work again).

we wouldn't need political independence if the parties would decide to be fiscally responsible.

That's not going to happen, because they keep getting re elected. And when that happens, the message is, "They're doing a good enough job to stay in office."

Trump shouldn't have been allowed 100 miles from DC after his first 4 years.
Neither should Harris or Biden.

We could've had DeSantis this time. The Democrats could've had Tulsi last time. We could've had Rand Paul in 2016. Seems like all the seemingly decent people get thrown under their party's bus.

Yeah. Sadly true.

No fan of Ron and while I voted for Gabbard in the 2020 primaries she is quickly losing me.

Exhibit A. This thread.

Bullshit on your part. This thread is about news and the irony of it all (in Musk and Trump). This has nothing to do with the Democrats in any way, shape or form. It is criticizing 2 people for they have said and done.
Lets see you. Condemn Obama for spying on Americans Unconstitutionally and filing Wall Street coffers with billions of dollars.
First of all, I am not all that familiar with the topic. Having said that, I see no reason to bring up the past, given that Obama is no longer in the picture and able to do anything.

My objective is to attempt to make the future better and other than understanding from the past as to "not what should be done now", I have no desire to bring up the past. If I was interested in doing that, I would be talking about how Bush Jr. put us all into a depression which almost caused us to lose the banking industry.

I don't bring that subject up, because it has no relevance to what is happening now.

So somehow, they need to both make an agreement to balance the budget. And it is not easy. Over the decades, Progs have had their way. The size of government in all levels proves it. The federal level is providing a slave to the rest of the nation with its deficits. City and state governments for the most part balance their budgets although some parts of their bureaucracies are underfunded. We see what the Repulican side is doing. The Prog side tells us that taxing the rich and corporate interests will balance the budget. Two trillion dollars a year worth to cover the deficit would be needed. And that is if they do not add any more social money and if the consumer is not affected by those tax increases.

I had a lot more respect for her when she was independent. Now she seems to be a Trumpbot. She's not once spoken out against our involvement with Ukraine. If she'd have stayed independent, she would've been railing against Trump getting us involved in all that.

Clinton and the GOP came close so it can't be that difficult unless you are simply trying to make excuses.

7.8 trillion under Trump the last time and the way he is going he will far exceed that this time.
