Musk calls homelessness a "Lie and Propaganda."

The man that does not know what a dozen eggs or a gallon of gas cost is downing those who are unhoused. What total idiot this man is. And of course, the othee billionaire, his father figure, is listening to him.

When he says “What you actually have are violent drug zombies with dead eyes, and needles and human feces on the street.” he reminds me of trump coming down the golden escalator and calling immigrants "rapists and murderers." He is playing the Orban card. Orban peached and is still preaching the dangers of immigrants to Hungary until be finally killed their democracy by taking over the media and flooding voters will misinformation.
People are homeless by choice. It's become a lifestyle of drug use and utter laziness.

I’m not arguing. I’m saying if that’s all I was capable of, they wouldn’t throw me out on the streets. Of course they’d push me to do more or want more.
I was in college and working a minimum wage job back in 2006. My dad said I had to keep both of those things going if I wanted to continue living in the house with him and the rest of my then family.

He wanted to throw me out on the street, but my grandmother thought more of it and came to my rescue, letting me live here at her home where we permanently lived since 1996.

He left me when I was 2 1/2 and didn't come back until I was 15, he left my grandmother to give me half the parentage that I required. Luckily she exceeded in teaching me morality. She didn't kick me out for underachieving. But she did push me to want more and be more.

There are a lot of girls who will work at cvs till they find Mr. Right. And parents all over America accept that. No?
But why would they? I mean temporarily, yes, but permanently no, right?

My mom took some shitty low paying factory jobs. Then she landed the front desk job 8n the er. Graveyard shift. Eventually she became a medical biller. Started from the bottom.

That's not really in men's nature, afaik.
On the other hand, I can only speak for myself.
I can speak to past experiences too, though.

Keep helping Ukraine or keep ignoring homeless Americans? Which one makes America great again? Go ask Trump! :)

How many are illegals? Deport them to country of origin.

I worked with a guy who had a homeless brother who lived on the streets of Berkley, CA. The family spent thousands just tracking him down after he disappeared. They finally found him and took him home. This guy took in his brother and tried to get him on the meds he needed. Of course he left yet again and has not been found. He told me his brother told him he would rather live on the streets. This transient had several degrees and was quite intelligent. There are those who prefer to be homeless.

Trump picked the wealthiest administration in history. More billionaires and centimillionaires in history. Linda McMahon, Howard lutnick, Doug burgum, Kelly Loeffler, Stephen feinberg. Combined worth $14 billion. Doesn’t include Elon.
So? Who knows how much the Biden crime family is worth? They hide it. Besides, why wouldn't you want successful folks running our country instead of entitled pricks like the Bidens and Obamas?

The "homeless" consist of the following.
1. Mentally ill who are unable to hold viable jobs and can't be institutionalized against their will. Reason: You can thank the ACLU for that.
2. Alcohol and Drug addicts with severe addictions who can't hold viable jobs. Reason: Bad life choices. Blame is on them.
3. Criminals deliberately on the move to avoid arrest. Reason: Bad life choices. Blame is on them.
4. Elderly with no family support and companies won't hire. Blame falls on the government for not ensuring some health care, food and a basic place to stay.
5. Women and their kids with no support. Blame: It's a very individual thing, often not their own fault. This is another area where the government could step in.
6. Teens/young adults who didn't give a crap about getting an education, dropped out thinking education and following authority is wrong and they generally turn to #2.
7. Hobos. Just people who don't want a roof over their heads and like drifting from town to town and getting temp work in each town they go to. It cropped up in the 1930's and never went away. No blame and no solution. They're happy being that way.
The US government pays out 2 billion dollars each year in maintaining vacant buildings. There's no reason that some of those buildings can't be converted into some form of basic housing for some of the above.
As an enlisted member in the military, I stayed in some barracks that were large rooms with rows of bunks and lockers, with group showers. We had no problem surviving in that environment. In other barracks, the buildings had cubicles that had four to a cubicle with lockers. Others had two personnel to a room, with each person having one locker, one dresser and a shared desk. For single males, this scenario would work fine for them, whereas with couples and women with kids, other scenarios would have to be implemented in buildings.
All would have to be patrolled have social workers available.

It's also a result of a job that pays 50k is poverty level wages. Welcome to america

If you don't have kids you'll be fine. Unless you live in California or Hawaii.

In 2023, the median household income in the United States was $80,610

That's 2 people making a combined $80K.

20-somethings

  • Average net worth: $120,896 (ages 20-24), $120,185 (ages 25-29)
  • Median net worth: $10,800 (ages 20-24), $30,160 (ages 25-29)
The average salary for an individual worker in 2023 was $65,470.

I believe the rich bring the average way up.

12.1% of US households earn between $75,000 and $99,999 annually. This means that 87.9% of US households earn less than $75,000 annually.

Combined 80 thousand? Just shows why wages across the board need to increase.
