I think the outcome would have been a little different if that were the case. In America, all you have to do is be “scared” and to “feel you were threatened” in order to try the ‘Stand Your Ground’ defense and get away with murder.

In the city of Rome itself, the carrying of military-grade weapons, such as the gladius or the later spatha, was prohibited but the carrying of smaller knives of various types were fairly common, simply because they were used for so many things, because of the pomerium. The pomerium or pomoerium was a religious boundary around the city of Rome and cities controlled by Rome. In legal terms, Rome existed only within its pomerium; everything beyond it was simply territory (ager) belonging to Rome.

600 million guns in private hands, over 19.4 milion Americans can and do legally carry their guns in public.

Each year, on average, Americans use their legal guns 1.1 million times a year to save lives from rape, robbery and murder, according to the Centers for Disease Control research.....

And the individual who did this....likely a criminal with a long history of crime and violence, with a long history of democrat party judges and prosecutors allowing them to go free over and over again, even with gun crimes on their record...

Again...what is wrong with this individual that isn't wrong with the other owners of 600 million guns, and over 19.4 million Americans who carry their guns in public and don't shoot anyone...

And what is good with the 1.1 million Americans who use their guns each year to stop rapes, robberies and murders....
