On the subject of dueling, which was briefly touched on in that video, I, for one, am probably not opposed to bringing back gentlemanly dueling.

Thanks for posting that, though, I wasn't even aware that this happened. I pretty much these days only watch the channels on my idiot box that play the old tv shows and only pop in here occasionaly compared to how much time I spent on here back in the day.

I'm sorry to report that I'm pretty much addicted to YouTube. I watch sports clips, guitar clips, political clips, shaving clips (I collect and use vintage razors), pretty much any subject that tickles my fancy at that moment.
It's an amazing research and entertainment tool.
But it's reduced me to a TV addict.

It's great for DYI stuff.
It helped me reprogram my garage door a couple of years ago because the instructions had left one key step out of the deal.
And once I was trying to figure out the opening to a song and found it displayed by some kid in his bedroom in Romania or something.

Mullin has been praised by most of his colleagues for his honesty and integrity while Rand Paul has undermined his fellow Republicans on numerous occasions. I agree with Mullin that Paul is a snake.

I'd not go with snake....He's just in the wrong party and I don't mean the dems either. He needs to run as a Libertarian.

Rand will join LP, and he won't be the only one leaving the Only Israel Matters Party....

Rand is highly unlikely to leave the GOP. If did he would not only lose the GOP dollars, he would face a Repub and a Dem in the next election.

The republican would call rand on his"not Democrat" routine, and the democrat would say, "might as well vote for an admitted democrat."

I wasn't gonna say anything in response to the large L libertarian claim. That's an incorrect assessment in my view.

The big L libertarians are more ''libertine'' than libertarian. And Rand isn't libertine. Libertine is not libertarian. Not even a little bit. As you correctly stated, he's more of a constitutionalist.

The idea behind running Rand was in fact to infiltrate the big-government spending, neocon infested GOP at the time who were really no different than the Democrat party being equally as statist and to set an example with regard to what being conservative actually means, though. It was about ''brushfires.'' No Majority is required for an endeavor as such.

Anyone who was in those circles back then knows that.

Libertarians as a political movement, though? Meh..they're their own worst enemy. So that's why you run the right ones under the GOP tent.
