Possible. The fact that Mueller released a statement—though disputing the findings of the story—lends credibility to the nature of the testimony. How many red herrings has there been from the get-go from supporters of the President that Mueller hasn’t commented on? I can think of at least 3 unique specific arguments. No comment. The story wasn’t denied by Mueller.

"BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the special counsel's office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's congressional testimony are not accurate,”

The office of the Special Counsel called the specific testimony inaccurate. Not the story itself.

For their part, Buzzfeed says it’s not Cohen who was their source.

Cohen appears before the House committee on 2/7.

That Mueller commented on an article by “Buzzfeed.com”…is pretty remarkable.

commented on, would have a direct bearing on the President running the
Country. (Especially if the story is false)

In a couple of weeks, Mueller starts answering to Barr. Barr is going to jump
both feet into his probe. He's going to start with those FISA warrants and see
if the Civil Rights of Americans were violated by the DOJ/FBI not giving the
FISA court all the info as required. (That would make the warrants invalid
and the information gathered/Special Counsel, not warranted...Not admissible in a Court of Law)

Mueller is fixin' to see two years of work go down the drain. He HAD to
respond to the story, if it was not truthful. Mueller's on the run from Barr,
