No, actually it didn't, as has been pointed out. Illinois is the most gerrymandered state in the nation. New York Democrats tweeked their maps further in their favor a second time after disappointing midterms in 2022. Nevada Dems gerrymandered our state, as did New Mexico, Maryland, and New Jersey. And then of course there's California's "independent" commission which still drew racially gerrymandered districts which all favor the Democrats.

The GOP would have a much bigger lead in the House today, even if you did away with their gerrymandering in Ohio and North Carolina. The Democrats have already gotten GOP gerrymanders struck down in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, yet seemingly have no problem doing it in their states.
