Lawrence O'Donnell is a broad brush ninny who should really be dropped onto the front line of an active combat scene and left to fend for himself. If it is true that both of the gentleman in question recently suffered traumatic brain injuries at some point in the past... something that happens from the intense percussion of a nearby military explosive being detonated then it's probably understandable that they could both have been negatively affected by their combat presence.
This is not even close to creating a foundation for accusing the United States military services of being a a source for domestic terrorism. That's just stupid.

The fact that someone may have had soldiering in their past makes no connection whatsoever between military service and criminality. The same could be said for anyone of a number of mass murderers and serial killers that have been something before they became what they eventually became. This type of reasoning shouldn't perplex anyone beyond three years old. Unfortunately however a large majority of Americans hold no critical thinking skills beyond the sixth grade level. This is the true epidemic facing our nation at this point.

He is correct that the military is always the prime treat to any republic.
That is why the Founders did not want to allow a standing military, and instead organized a system with a local, voluntary, militia.
