A number of points not addressed by Vargas:

Check this out. The guy was in on two charges, one real, one a mistake. The real one was DUI. And we're supposed to cry about THIS???

I'd say the administrative incompetence of the judicial system is something to be concerned about, legal immigrant, native or whatever ...
