Mr. Green goes to Washington.

Pull your head outta your ass man!
Trump's approval is plunging and it's goung to continue. Stop deluding yourself and come back to reality.

During the first month of his second term, Donald Trump’s popularity started out mildly positive but has slowly eroded, according to the FiveThirtyEight averages. As of January 24, his job-approval ratio was 49.7 percent positive and 41.5 percent negative. As of March 3, it’s 48.0 percent positive and 47.8 percent negative, which means his net approval has slipped from 8.2 percent to 0.2 percent.

Democratic Rep. Al Green removed after disrupting Trump's speech

First point, I deplore the end of civility and decorum that used to guide the behavior of congressmen, and Presidents, during austere occasions like the prez addressing a joint session of Congress, and the American people. A metaphorical door that was kicked down when Rep. Joe Wilson accused President Obama of lying during a speech to a joint session in 2009.

That said, if ever there was a time to stand up and be heard while the current prez, a convicted felon and credibly accused rapist, methodically dismantles the bulwarks of democracy (and lies about it), it's now.

Outside the chamber, Green told NBC News that as "a person of conscience," he believes Trump "has done things that I think we cannot allow to continue." I agree.

Repubs in attendance did not. They reminded me of.......

He looked like a Jive Turkey from some 1970's Blaxploitation film.

Two things that you and the neanderthal from Houston have in common:

1) You both enjoy embarrassing yourselves.
2) You both have zero self-awareness.

Angry, bitter, unable to articulate an actual point, overcome with emotions like a petulant child.

Could he be your future Presidential nomination?
Someone like that was yours.

The opposition party not standing or applauding for things with which they vehemently disagree is a long standing tradition.

Can you point us to a SOTUS address where republicans refused to stand for a child fighting cancer?

They didn't stand or clap for a young black boy who had survived cancer! Seriously, Berg? The Democratic Party is so morally bankrupt at this point they won't even do that because Trump pointed to him. They truly ARE the "opposition" party but some of the things they oppose are things that the American people overwhelmingly support.
Forget standing....They couldn't even be bothered with the old polite golf clap.

Truly soulless husks of humanity.

The 21st century reactionaries....Just act out without a single thought to the potential backlash.

Actually they are 20th century reactionaries in this photo, analog losers in a digital age.

Repubs were no doubt not the only ones cheering Dotard's speech.

Russia praises Trump after he ripped Ukraine’s Zelensky: ‘He understands our position’
