I hated Waterworld and Event Horizon. I thought this was about movies that were likable....or just plain not originally accepted by the viewing public, but later became cult classics. There's a ton of movies that bombed at the box office but I liked them anyway, and they were really good.

All of the above movies weren't money winners when they were first released, but became classics or highly popular.

I'll likely get skewered for this but, as a Science Fiction fan, I did not think Battlefield Earth was that bad.
I've certainly seen worse.
