I can see where you're going with that- most people want to know more about the people with whom they interact with, whether that's online or offline. That being said, I also think that people who report should be allowed to do so without the fear that everyone will be able to see not only that they have reported 1 or more people, but exactly how many times they've reported on posts.

I don't think so, and I think that's a good thing. The reason I think it's a good thing is that frequently, it can be a good thing for there to be a mediator (or mod) when 2 people have a serious disagreement. Also, if a mod decides that a report deserves to be acted upon, you will certainly get some feedback .
