A reportedly successful Defense Attorney has been elected to be the District Attorney for Corpus Christi Texas. Trump won the district, and the city. But so did Mark Gonzales. A Democrat, and a man who is going to try and reform the local Criminal Justice system from the inside.
It gets funnier. He is a member of a Motorcyle club, and considered a registered gang member by the Texas State Police. He was even technically temporarily not a lawyer when his law license was suspended because he didn’t pay his fees to the State BAR.
I have no idea what will happen to the Criminal Justice System in Corpus Christi Texas, but I can hope that some common sense starts to break out for a change.
