More Trump Campaign Reversals

Don't try to promote BS. You're not very good at it. From Walmart.com right now.
Yep. seems you copied the same ad I did. Of course, you would pay more for 18 count, or pasture raised free range eggs, but that's nothing new.

Turd-in-chief is a good title for DJT.

Either he takes care of inflation, or the voters will take care of his agenda.

Now, who would have thought the former president would back down on campaign promises.
Lower prices on food and goods... ain't gonna happen.
Tariffs?

"During his presidential campaign, Trump claimed he would impose “universal tariffs" of up to 20 percent on all goods imported to the United States. Economists and many congressional Republicans criticized the plan as potentially "disruptive," warning that American consumers would immediately feel the pinch at the grocery store"

"However, Trump's aides are now said to be considering imposing the tariffs only on "certain sectors deemed critical to national or economic security," according to Washington Post White House economics reporter Jeff Stein"

Well, the neat thing is, he's not held to any standards. Never has been.

So it's okay 'n stuff.

Plus, he's been sent by God, so...

:)

It’s probably the sane people in the future administration trying to calm down the markets and prevent anticipatory actions that would be harmful to the economy.

Do you ever question why your sources never quote Trump?

Direct quotes:

Stein cited three anonymous sources

three people familiar with the matter said

The people spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations.

Probably not Trump supporters either.

Yeah, that's probably it. LOL

Yeah, that's probably it. LOL
It’s definitely not intended for consumption by the MAGAs, whose don’t have any real economic power and won’t believe (or see) any reporting in the Washington Post.

Trump’s team (there are intelligent people on it) know that the people with actual economic power, the capitalists and decision makers, do take the Washington Post seriously and will be relieved to see Trump doesn’t intend to apply broad tariffs. As is always the case, the medium is the message.

Let me tell you something dumbfu**, you had better prove your case here, there, and everywhere. Reason is, if it all works, you are going to get Vance or a reasonable facsimile in 2028.

You spin all you want, and maybe you get a few wins, but if Trump and friends are correct, you are done for a decade! Doesn't mean they are correct, just means you had better hope they are not!

P.S. You are not alone, lol. The MIGHTY MACAFLOOZY is in your corner, hehehehehehehehehehe!

How odd that lib trump haters are now demanding policies they were against as recently as 3 months ago

Keep tabs on these:

Trump campaigned on a promise of mass deportation of unauthorized immigrants, a border security crackdown, vast new national defense spending and extending his multi-trillion-dollar 2017 tax cuts with new breaks for big businesses and individuals.

Trump, Republicans prep ambitious but fraught plan for tax cuts and more

The GOP will attempt to pass one massive legislative package including tax cuts, border security and other priorities, putting lawmakers up against a high-stakes deadline.

The MAGAmucks around here are having a very hard time with their denialism.

It's expected, but let them be that way. A one vote majority in a do nothing House. Watch out for the slime and don't step in it.

Except we aren’t demanding anything of the sort. Just pointing out that common sense has a voice in Trumplandia and will hopefully (probably) prevail. Trump isn’t as stupid as he sounds. He doesn’t actually believe a lot of the crap he says.

How right you are, Democrats have left a whole lot of slime.
