Emissivity is a dimenstionless ratio where 1 = transparent and 0 = completely opaque ... we include this factor in our Stefan-Boltzmann Greybody equation ... we're still emitting as much energy as we're receiving, the "ideal" part, just we're including how opaque the surrounding air is, and the extra time the energy exists within the environment ...
The fourth root of a million is ≈ 31.6 ... just saying ... it takes huge changes in emissivity to make small changes to temperature ... and a degree per century is small ...

It is pretty funny that nobody wants to stop Ozone, given that it absorbs much higher energy UV and hence would "heat" the atmosphere more than a molecule that absorbs weak IR.
We are not even close to overpopulation, in fact, most countries are about to see an implosion and loss of population size to the point it endangers the country because there won't be enough new young people to support all the old people......

Just how much UV do you think the Earth radiates? ... solar UV doesn't make it past 1% of the atmosphere ... and, yes, there is a temperature maximum at the top of the Stratosphere ...

Disagree. There are fresh water shortages all over the world. When humans consume too much of nature's fresh water, it takes life from upstream, and leaves plants dry enough to burn. This is the first sign. Desalination is a band aid. Human population growth needs to stop now. It cascades worse exponentially if we do not.
There has to be wildlife, farms, and walled off areas. Too much human encroachment is stripping nature of life, and that is not a good trend at all.
The two demographics having 10 kids per couple - latino and muslim - are the ones migrating everywhere. Hello.
Amazon forest caught fire a few years ago. Way too many people consuming that water. So many they keep ending up here.
Shut the door. Absolutely make it a crime for any leader, especially a religious leader, to preach having huge families.
Tax code should encourage two kids, tolerate three kids, and punish anyone who has a fourth or more.
Leaving this problem to Bill Gates, Fauci, Soros, and Netanyahu will get a truly FASCIST answer and already is...

Ozone is high up in the atmosphere, but it is still in the atmosphere, and it surely gets more energy per unit of sun EM spectrum than Co2.... like several digits over...
Your answer is correct, but it is funny the hypocrisy of picking a gas that absorbs the LOW END of EM while cheering another gas at the high end of EM in the same atmosphere....

You seem confused about this ...a UV photon disassociates an oxygen molecule, if the oxygen recombines, then another UV photon is emitted ... however, if the oxygen recombines in two steps ... first to ozone, then to regular oxygen ... then two photons are released in the green part of the spectrum, each photon of a lower energy level than the original UV photon ...
Energy is conserved ...
This is all closer to the Earth's surface than the maximum solar IR absorption at the Stratopause ... thus our temperature maximum is ABOVE the ozone layer [@ 1 mb] ... there's no particular thermal feature associated with the ozone layer itself [@ 10 mb] ... other than what solar IR is left to be absorbed ...
The Greenhouse Effect works both ways ... this incoming solar IR is, in part, re-radiated back out into space, just like terrestrial IR is, in part, redirected back to Earth ... so carbon pollution is both a positive feedback AND a negative feedback both at the same time ... where the balance is, no one knows ... increasing water vapor increases cloudiness which decreases temperatures ... so together things look to be a wash ...

If it's in the atmosphere, then the Law of Physics applies ... such that statements like "Venus keeps heat" is complete nonsense ... how does the Greenhouse Effect work on Jupiter? ... you claim this is intrinsic to the atmospheric structure, so please explain this "Greenhouse Effect" as it occurs in the Sun's atmosphere ...
Co2 [sic] went up, atmospheric temps did not.
What lab experiment can we perform to verify this statement? ... my set-ups keep showing slight temperature rise with large increase in CO2 ...
