If boiling the water removes iron then surely boiling water would do the same for coffee ?
Unless there is a mystical quality to tea.
There probably is. tes is the best drink for a hot day. The only hot drink that cools you down.
I only drink Assam tea these days. It helps to calm me down and ensures that I am always balanced and reasonable. Now I find that it reduces my lead intake as well. They will put the price up next.

It is a rather silly article, and something that has been known for a long time. And yes, roasted coffee grounds also remove metal ions.
But in both cases, it is only traceable amounts. And unlikely to make drinking either more healthy. The article states it several times, but then goes on to make a rather "rose colored" approach - "well any less metal is good".
Silly. It is such small amounts that no study has shown it is measurably "healthier" than drinking water.
Essentially, treated water in modern societies already contains very little metal ions. The benefit gained by tea/coffee is too tiny to matter. If the water is high in metals, it still will be after brewing because it doesn't remove enough to matter

Imagine anyone taking health advice from you, a fat shit who ate, drank, and smoked himself into being a burden on humanity.

I appreciate the extra mile from you to bring the science, MisterBeale. :clap2:

The only Troll Bot who can write an advertisement for himself that is self evidently nonsense yet thinks he has said something meaningful .

Good job he has zero followers otherwise Assam drinkers would cease to exist .

Everything I don't like? Propaganda!

I drink Chai tea. Pretty much the only one I like.
I like heavily spiced stuff. And Chai tea is the best I've found so far.

They did have Black Rum tea back in the 80's, which was freekin awesome, but then just like everything else I get addicted to, they stop producing it. Luckily I found Chai tea.

The most hilarious unwitting stupidity ever from Turdy .
Seems even the Guardian has turned against Hopalong .

I shall drop a line to the makers of Assam teas and suggest they sue him for his Squatting Tent and and his hiking single shoe .

Who wants an endorsement from a Cadbury's Fruit and Nut case ?
