Freedom is NOT free. The tree of liberty needs to be watered periodically. Get it? Not so long ago, we had people that, for better or worse, assassinated people with radical ideas. Now, America is just a bunch of pussies and deserves whatever comes from lack of doing anything about what is going on around us. Reelecting Trump with a huge margin may hold off whats coming, but in the end, to stop communism from coming here will take some violence. Whether it comes at the end of a rope after a trial or civil war, that's what it will take. The commies are never going to back down. Don't fool yourself.

The Legislative doesn't "Wage War" the US Military does. The POTUS is the Commander in Chief of ALL US Military.

And an AUMF is tantamount to a Dec War.

Also, the Courts don't detain anyone, the Executive does. The Courts convict and incarcerate. Police Powers fall under the purview of the Exec.

You can spin it all you like, I realize that as a mindless partisan sheep you are not allowed to say anything bad when you god is sitting in the White House, but sooner or later the other side will win it back.

The AUMF is not a declaration of war, it is an abdication by the legislative branch of their Constitutionally appointed duties. It is a free pass for the Executive branch to wage war against anyone and everyone without ever asking Congress again.

I did not say the courts detained anyone, but congress has given the Executive branch the power to incarcerate without end and without access to the judicial branch, this includes anyone, even citizens. They do not need to list charges, they do not need to give access to a lawyer or a hearing or a date in which the incarceration might end.

You are happy with the Executive branch having all these powers now because you worship the head of the Executive branch, but sooner or later that will change.
