The head of Saudi Arabia continues to urge the US to keep fighting. They are true allies who would help us, but they are busy…doing something else.

Mohammed bin Salman urges Trump to 'keep hitting Iran hard' - report

This follows the same advice of the late Saudi King Abdullah, who had reportedly told Washington repeatedly to “cut off the head of the snake.”

Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, has been advising US President Donald Trump to “keep hitting the Iranians hard,” White House officials told the New York Times in a report published on Sunday.

This follows the same advice of the late Saudi King Abdullah, who had reportedly told Washington repeatedly to “cut off the head of the snake.”

Meanwhile, bin Salman and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed held talks on Monday amid mounting questions over whether Gulf states will continue to avoid a direct public confrontation with Tehran, Al-Arabiya repor

The leaders said that “the continuation of Iran's unjust attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the region's security and stability,” the report noted.

The leaders also said that countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council would continue efforts to defend their territories and provide all available resources to support the region’s security and maintain stability.

Gulf states hold off on public strike against Iran

Additionally, after two weeks of war, and despite more than 2,000 missiles and drones launched by Iran toward Gulf states, a public retaliatory strike against Iran still does not appear to be on the horizon.

According to sources from Gulf states who spoke with The Jerusalem Post, one of the reasons they have not launched an attack with a claim of responsibility is their concern about “the day after.”

Another reason Gulf states are reluctant to attack Iran is the fear of a significant escalation in Iranian strikes, including an expansion of the list of targets that might be hit with missiles and drones.

The Sauds have the 5th largest military budget in the world.

The UAE also has a serious military, which helped us in Syria.

The Kurds are capable and are anxious to help from the north.

If the US wanted to get a "coalition of the willing" like for Iraq, we could, but a negotiated peace might be better.

Might even be able to get the populace to revolt if we could get them arms to fight the IRGC?

If the left would take notice, not one Arab country has come out as being against the US and Israel's war against Iran. And, Iran is firing missiles at every Arab neighbor. Even Lebanon where Hezbollah is, hasn't said anything.

Who can blame him?

So what?

Trump started this war, not Saudi Arabia,Qutar , Bahrain, Oman or any other Gulf state.

Thrump didn’t bother to sell his war or seek their approval or help befor he launched his war.

They have no incentive whatsoever to join Trump’s chaotic, mismanaged quagmire.

Yeah, but this isn't WWIII, right?

I think that was intentional by Jared who wanted to destroy the USA in the process

The Saudis have around 247,000 total Military personnel.

The Iranians have 610,000. How do the Saudis "dwarf them"
Not bodies but equipment. While Iran was the big cheapy drone maker, SA has top of the line aircraft, tanks, etc.

That doesn't make the Saudis "Dwarf" Iran's military.

And the Iran # doesn't include things like the IRGC, which even has its own naval units, and 125,000 personnel.
