The man needs to retire from public life, he's boring the **** out of America.
I'd love to see him run against Hillary.

Democrats, moderates, and independents elect presidents, not conservatives.
You're right in that neither are elected by their base. Of course if you're talking about Democrats "electing" their candidate through fraud, yeah, there is certainly that.

This is not an "Onion" story.
Mitt Romney leads the Republican field among New Hampshire primary voters for 2016. Yes, you read that right.

Why not make it a third run for president? That's something that the former Republican nominee is definitely not thinking about right now. To put it in his own recent words: "Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no."
But that didn't stop the Virginia-based bipartisan policy firm Purple Strategies from adding his name to a recent survey for Granite State voters, which shows Romney in the lead with 25 percent support. Libertarian firebrand Rand Paul (who has strong infrastructure in New Hampshire) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are behind with 18 percent and 17 percent support, respectively.

Could Mitten's magic underwear prove that the third time's a charm?

Romney would be a hell of a lot better than what's sitting in the Oval office right now. At least he has EXPERIENCE in private sector jobs--something Obama never accomplished.
But he's not going to run again--Ann Romney stated that prior to the last election--she's had it.

Welcome to your hope and change!
I'm of the belief that the red state/blue state divide has become so entrenched that it's pretty darn difficult for any Republican to win the White House. The scores pretty much start at what? 243 Dem, 206 GOP? That's 27 short for the Dems to win the whole thing. 27 is fewer then what Florida has, or fewer then Ohio and Virginia together.
There just aren't many paths to the white house for the GOP nowadays, especially with Virginia trending blue. It's only going to get worse going forward with minority voters.

we are divided, but the dividing line keeps moving. at the moment its moving right as more and more americans get fed up with failed socialist policies and lies from left wing leaders.
Minority voters are not as monolithic as you think they are. 2014 will be an eye opener for many dems and libs.
Reagan took every state but one, it could happen again.

That may have been true if Obama had been a bit more competent. It may be too late for them now.
How do you expect the RightWingersto behave?you know whats going to be great. watching the libs circle jerk each other and attack every name that even gets mentioned as a possible republican candidate.

Obama won, the country lost.
Romney would have been a great president.
I don't blame him a bit for not wanting to go through the cess pool of media and dem lies again.

It was not a good campaign, he should have realized that he was going against the dem machine and the media. he should have been in full attack mode from the beginning. He tried to be honest and fair, and that does not work against democrats.
How could he possibly be any worse that the abject failure that's in office now?

How could he possibly be any worse that the abject failure that's in office now?
Well let's see. Last Republican President entered office with a balanced budget, a minor recession, and no wars. In his terms we were hit by terrorists to the tune of 3000 dead Americans on American soil. And at the end of his terms, 7 years later, the mastermind of that deed was still alive and well. That President started a war on the basis of lies he himself told, that cost us trillions of dollars, and over 4000 American lives, and neither we nor the Iraqies gained anything from it. After going into Afghanistan, that Republican President abandoned it to the point the Taliban became a major force once again there.
In the meantime, back at home, that President turned a once booming economy into what was almost the Second Great Republican Depression.
When President Obama was handed the baton and took office, we were losing 500,000 jobs a month, the market was headed for 6000, and it looked like '29 all over again. Today, the market is around 16,000, the jobs are coming back, in spite of the GOP doing everything in it's power to prevent any economic progress.
Abject failure, that is your tune, boy. 20082012
