In all fairness it doesn't say that the children are the children of the missionaries. They may be orphaned children in the care of those missionaries.

I know that most of the money from America and the UN never makes it to the people of Haiti. It has been stolen by every bureacrat from the President to the dog catcher....

The missionaries are the only source of true aide for these people. The fact that the police are not getting paid should be the first clue. The second one is the lack of basic sanitation. Not even a hole in the ground to claim latrine status.

But yet enough money has been given every year to give every resident their own luxury apartment...
