This isn't a debate topic per se. I just wanted it here in the hopes it would stay relatively friendly.

On the one hand, I don't like paying that much attention to race or ethnicity. I'm interested in the backgrounds of my own ancestors but we're all Americans -- not hyphenated Americans. On the other hand, a lot of people do care.

I don't know where I want this topic to lead, but I saw a headline about the first Latina Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly and thought I'd like a nice place to make the occasional note about minorities in the GOP.

What was the name of the young black woman from Utah that spoke at the RNC ?

She had class. One of the best speeches of the year.

Thanks to Amelia for the name:

Suzana Martinez....New Mexico is pretty sharp.

Niki Haley.

Pretty diverse group.

We even let pro-abortion people in our leadership. Would the democrats ever let a pro-lifer speak.....?

These were the first three that came to mind....all women.

You know those poor people we declared war on.

Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz......

And, of course,

Ann Coulter !!!!!!
