Minneapolis City Council Vows to Dismantle Police Force

the city of Camden, New Jersey did it in 2013 and as a result, saw an improvement in the relationship between police and residents as well as a dramatic drop in violent crime

Mmmm.....not really

"In its place, the surrounding county formed a new police department that it wants to expand to other jurisdictions outside the city. The Camden County Police Department rehired most of the laid-off cops, along with nearly 100 other officers, but at much lower salaries and with fewer benefits than they had received from the city. "

That Camden was able to demonstrate peacefully without escalation looked like a sign of progress in a city that’s one of the country’s poorest and was once considered its most dangerous. “What we’re experiencing today in Camden is the result of many years of deposits in the relationship bank account,” says Scott Thomson, Camden’s chief of police until 2019. He led the city’s high-profile pivot to community policing from 2013 until last year and oversaw what turned out to be a steep decline in crime.

Nope, just shuffling chairs on the titanic.

These ignorant liberal sonofabitches. I hope every liberal member on the City Council has a family member that is victimized by the goons that will now run the city. What a bunch of dummies. Democrats can't run a city, a state, and damn sure not the federal government.
I pray these leftist screwball morons dismantle the PD a.s.a.p., and get that “transformative new model of public safety” up and running in high gear, pronto!!!

Other than that all I can suggest is they lock in to some sort of pay-per-view deal because lots of folks will be wanting to follow the progress of the NMPS as it facilitates the transformation of Minneapolis into a pile of rubble with bodies scattered around.

Blackened burned out buildings matter!

Facts seem to offend you.

the term " cutting off your nose to spite your face" does come to mind.

I hope they become the first people victimized by the crime they are ushering in.

How many times are these marxist shitstains going to jump the shark this year? I can't wait to watch this one from a safe distance. OMG this is going to be amusing.

All they need to do is dismantle the police union that protects thugs like Chauvin.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS
Very interesting. I lawyer said this in so many words...a city and a state have the right to demolish state and city police departments.

However, if they are demolished at a city level and state level or only city level, are now under the immediate jurisdiction of the Sheriffs Department on every state. So, that means each county will keep their Sheriffs Departments. And Sheriff’s Departments do not answer to the governor because they are elected not appointed.

hmmm, so if true and that happens, then what? Seriously?

Not at all. This blm antifa is rooted in communist/marxist beliefs. This is but one tactic they're using to bring the US down ie police departments, etc. Those are facts. You'd better learn to discern in a hurry.

It's sad that you seem to think that anti-racism is based in Communism.

This is the most retarded things I have ever read.
Meaning replacing with a different security system that only benefits democrat elites.
