Milley excoriated Trump in unreleased resignation letter

Wow, for the letter of resignation which he did not release until now in the NY Magazine and an upcoming book:

After he was seen walking dressed in combat fatigues behind then-President Donald Trump across Lafayette Square after it had been forcibly cleared of Black Lives Matter protesters in June 1, 2020, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff, drafted a resignation letter to inform Trump that he intended to step down.

The letter was published by the New Yorker on Monday in an excerpt of an upcoming book by Peter Baker and Susan Glasser, "The Divider: Trump in the White House."

Later in the link:

In his letter, Milley told Trump, "You are using the military to create fear in the minds of the people — and we are trying to protect the American people."

"I cannot stand idly by and participate in that attack, verbally or otherwise, on the American people," Milley wrote. "The American people trust their military and they trust us to protect them against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and our military will do just that. We will not turn our back on the American people."

Clearly this man-child spoiled brat is not capable of holding any trust with any future job in service to the American People. Those who continue to support trump are those who failed the founders who established and oath of the presidency, to wit:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Clearly trump did not faithfully execute the Office of President on January 6, 2021. Not only did he incite an insurrection, he allowed domestic enemies to attack the Capitol Building: to harm a large number of Law Enforcement personnel who bravely took their oath of office; When he watched the violence and vandalism for three hours on TV failing in his duty of Commander in Chief.
That letter looks like it was written by an emotionally overwrought 13-year old little girl, not the head honcho of all the military.

How utterly embarrassing.

In short, he chose to protect our country and it's population. You don't know, and never will, understand that trump is not and will never be a leader of all the citizens.

trump demands loyalty to himself, but not to the United States, nor to the Constitution, nor to anyone who disagrees with him.

Mocking "woke" and "BLM" shows a lack of empathy, and you along with the rest of the trumpanzees are self serving, faux conservatives, faux Christians and faux patriots.
Well that was a pointless rant.

Maybe you two should get together and investigate “white rage”.

It wasn’t Bush, it was the intel agencies that wanted the war. The intel agencies that want every war. They are used to having Presidents they jump when they snap their fingers. Remember Obama was supposed to pull us out of the ME? What happened? Oh yea….those same Deep State agencies snapped their fingers and he bombed Libya and got us into Syria. Then they snapped their fingers and Biden now has us in a proxy war with Russia.

President Trump was the first and only to not play their game.

Nope. All the intelligent came through Cheney. He was cherry picking it. The intelligence community knew Iraq was crippled by two decades of war and sanctions. Israel and the UK wanted the invasion. Operation Mass Appeal was initiated by the British in 1998.

And now look who Cheney supports.

It ain’t Trump.

Milley is just another stooge of the congressional military industrial complex. In no way should he ever have been promoted beyond Lt. the man is a political wonk deep up to his eyeballs in the swamp. A disgrace to all that have and currently serve.

Maybe Trump is bipolar. He sure has a lot of tantrums.
Possibly, for sure he meets the criteria for personality disorders:

  • Histrionic personality disorder: The People with ASPD show a lack of respect toward others and don’t follow socially accepted norms or rules. People with ASPD may break the law or cause physical or emotional harm to others around them. They may refuse to take responsibility for their behaviors and/or display disregard for the negative consequences of their actions.
  • Narcissistic personality disorder: This condition involves a consistent pattern of perceived superiority and grandiosity, an excessive need for praise and admiration and a lack of empathy for others. These thoughts and behaviors often stem from low self-esteem and a lack of self-confidence.
  • People with a personality disorder struggle to form close, stable relationships with others due to their problematic beliefs and behaviors. They may lack empathy or respect for others, be emotionally detached or be overly needy of attention and care.
Another distinguishing sign of personality disorders is that most people who have one often have little to no insight or self-awareness of how their thoughts and behaviors are problematic.

That describes the entire Biden Administration. Immature emotionally overwrought 13 year olds.

Have you served? When, where, how long and where in the chain of command?

Trump has absolutely no sense of self awareness and very little self control. I remember when he shoved the president of Montenegro out of his way.

So you agree. The Biden administration is full of in over their heads immature tweens. Thanks.
Not at all, you seem to echo like a child; and that is a response one might expect from an average second grader. Lots and lots of trump supporters post idiot-grams, and your use of one was one of them here, and in most of your "sage" comments.

Looks as if the trump lovers can't seem to ever write a rebuttal to our comments. The Truth is out There and they can't seem to want to admit it.

Milley was one of our generals who warned Trump about the consequences of Taliban not meeting the conditions while the US and our allies continued the withdrawals. Furthermore, the Afghan army was still a cohesive fighting force in June and most of July.
So they shit the bed in August is what you're saying?

It was Trump who set the conditions and that was one of the withdrawal conditions. Biden screwed that all up and ignored it.

Biden was not in office during the implementation phase. Benedict Donald oversaw the complete 135 days of implementation of the Skedaddle Accords. He allow the Taliban to skate on nearly every condition they agreed to, while making sure our military met theirs. Including abandoning 5 bases, and withdrawing most all of our troops except the minimal number 2500. Biden didn't try to re-invade to force the Taliban to do what Dickhead Donnie didn't do. So of course, Saul Biden's Fault.

Cut the bullshit.....Biden screwed the withdrawal up immensely and owns it.
