Dear America, Why Are We Voting Against Our Own Self Interests?
I don't get it. Most people loath the super rich, and yet they sit around glued to FOX and vote to keep giving them tax breaks and favors. All the while, the buy the same old line of "they are the ones creating jobs" from the GOP. Guess what....THEY ARE SITTING ON THEIR TRILLIANS NOT CREATING JOBS.
Not "most people". Most people are actually NORMAL and don't sit around uselessly envying and stewing about the success of others. And they sure don't sit around pretending the success of others is the reason they aren't and that the proper job of government is to punish and discourage success by confiscating it from those who earned it. That is just a liberal thing.
BTW what Obama has proposed -regardless of him calling it a "millionaire's tax" -is to raise taxes on those who make $200,000 and families that earn $250,000. I have a hard time believing liberals can't do simple arithmetic to realize that is not "super rich" first of all -or that $200,000 is just a fraction of $1,000,000 and therefore not a millionaire's tax in the least. So in reality Obama is appealing to morons like YOU that this is something that would affect the "super rich" -but in fact the super rich won't be the least bit affected by this tax increase. BECAUSE THE SUPER RICH DON'T EARN AN INCOME ANYMORE! They won't pay one dime more because of this. They are SITTING on billions -because they already earned it and already paid their income taxes on it. The super rich have no problem raising taxes on those who still get their money by working for it -because it won't affect them in the least.
The top 1% of all income earners pay 1/3 of all federal income taxes BY THEMSELVES -and the top 10% pay 71% of all federal income taxes. Nearly half of all income earners -48% -pay no federal income taxes at all. You know when liberals will believe those footing the bills will have paid their "fair share"? When they are taxed down to middle class and denied the right to the fruits of their own labor. No matter what the dire consequences for class warfare, no matter the reality it is those on the bottom who will ALWAYS suffer the most for it - the left will never stop it. The left is so deranged they would rather see more people living "equally" miserable in poverty than have as few as possible on the bottom. Which is why they prefer a system that encourages people to exist as parasites on others -even as they insist the host being parasited is the one to be reviled and despised and success should be punished. I'd rather lose a limb than be a liberal.
Every time another dumb liberal opens their yap mocking the idea the rich are the job creators I must assume they are sad products of our public school system. Liberals have NO idea how the real world works and NO ability to comprehend the unwanted consequences of the SNAKE OIL they peddle -so of course they have no idea who and where the job creators are. There is a reason when the left gains or grabs total control and power they do nothing but massively increase human misery. Too bad for the rest of us they can't be bothered to learn why that is. The sad truth Jim is you haven't a clue where and who the real job creators are. And since you don't, your opinion on the subject doesn't amount to squat.
