State of Michigan Rep. Jewell Jones drunken driving incident

State of Michigan Rep. Jewell Jones was arrested April 6 for suspected drunken driving after officers from three departments responded to I-96 near Fowlerville after 911 got reports of an erratic driver who was in a ditch. This video shows Michigan State Police dash cam and Livingston County sheriff's deputy's dash cam of the incident. Jones is charged with OWI w/high BAC (0.19), OWI, possession of a .40-caliber semiautomatic Glock while under influence, reckless driving; and four counts of resisting police. NOTE: There may be explicit language.

A court recently ruled Jones violated his bond conditions for a second time over an alcohol-monitoring tether, WDIV reported:

This was the second violation of his bond and he avoided jail time once again. In his previous bond hearing he was given an alcohol tether that would tell the court if he was drinking. He has to pay for the tether or it will shut off and he’d be violating his bond again.
Last week the tether shut off for nonpayment. Even though his probation officer said they were reminding him to pay week after week. Prosecutor’s argued that Jones’ bond should be revoked this time and he should be held in jail.

Comment:
Drunk, wrecked his car, resisted arrest, refused direct commands repeatedly, loaded gun in his car, injured passenger...and of course, immediately he claims he's a victim. So manipulative.
Hmmm....., Just another "Friend of Gretchen." Seems about right. I think "Mr." Whitmer used that exact same line trying to get his boat out for a holiday last year........
Don't have to look it up, that is in the news daily... well certainly not on CNN or NBC or any of the other ABCs of godless news services.
This is the caliber of individuals in the Democratic Party of Michigan.
This unfortunately this incident occurred on April 6th, 2021... Rep. Jewell Jones has yet to resign and is still an active part of the Michigan State Legislature....
