Michigan: One voter ID with 29 separate "votes" already. Yeah nothing wrong there, all good, move along ...

Just like the law stops people from shooting up schools or stealing from a store?

The laws only stop the law abiding, for the others the law is there to punish.
How about an election system that flags ballots when the person has already voted?

This was caught by election watchdogs, not the State...

In order for that to work, the machines would have to be all connected on line, which most people think is a bad idea
It's already that way. The tabulators are not online, but the servers connect through VPN's using FTP. Precincts update through flash drives daily.

The ballots come in, they are scanned and the signature matching is suppose to happen before the envelopes are ever opened. Those envelopes usually aren't opened before election day, but the voter can go online and see if his ballot was received.

This information comes from the database where voters can check if their ballot was received. That database can easily be cross-checked for multiple ID's, it's a simple SQL query. It should be automated.

That is how it works for a mail in ballot, but if I get in my car and drive to 7 different polling places how are they going to know it till after the fact?

If you do it all on the same day you might not be caught at once, but if you are going to a polling place, you have to check in before you can cast your ballot. The QVF is updated at the polling places every day, and when you check in, it's supposed to check to make sure you are registered, and if you have already voted.

If it's mail-in ballots (like these are almost certain to be) then it happens when the envelope is scanned, and the same thing- it's supposed to check against the QVF and verify the voter is a registered voter, and hasn't already voted.

yes, it is election fraud. And if it is real, which is doubtful, it has been caught...just like it was supposed to be.
We know. You desperately need to believe this isn't true because your hero Harris has no chance in a fair election.

How do you know it's using an SQL database?

There are legitimate reasons for some people to have their addresses hidden in the voter files. Certain public officials like judges could be targeted at their homes, victims of abuse need to be hidden from their abusers, etc.

So a false address is not necessarily fraud. It can be a false address for a legitimate reason.

But a voter ID is not PII, and there is no reason that every voter should not have a unique ID.

Hmm. Didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
I should clarify that it's not universal. There are a handful of counties in Michigan that use ES&S or Hart, but the vast majority (including Wayne Co, where this is taking place) are Dominion.

They told Lara Trump and her team that it was a glitch, and they won't be counted. We'll see, we'll see, at least they know what was happening.

But what caused the glitch? A bunch of donkeys.

I think a more fulsome explanation that "it was just a glitch" is warranted.

Do the ballots exist, or is it a database error?

Saying they are duplicates and won't be counted doesn't explain anything...

Michigan is counting votes already?
