Price gouging is shunned when a disaster happens and in some cases outlawed. That being said, when a producer has to pay more for product because of outside pressures (higher fuel prices causing higher deliver yprices) that is not gouging, that is bad government regulation of our energy sector. They put those anti price gouging legislation to keep people from taking advantage of natural disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes. That has nothing to do with inflation.

Before Covid Trump was giving America historically good economic numbers! Hopefully he will be reelected by rational people who grasped that fact. The world was also FAR more peaceful! Hopefully they will remember that as well!
Businesses pass along increased costs to consumers. That's a fact of business life. Government has no authority to step into that process and artificially set prices because THEIR economic policies caused rampant inflation and they need a scapegoat for that inflation!

Trump left Covid closings up to individual State Governors. His job was to provide vaccines, ventilators and protective equipment all of which he did in record time. More people died of Covid after Joe Biden took office than they did under Trump and that was AFTER Trump provided Biden with the vaccines, ventilators and protective gear needed to fight Covid! So spare me the Trump couldn't "handle" Covid bullshit! If Joe Biden had been in office with the idiots that he's put into his Cabinet my guess is that we'd STILL be waiting for all of the things that Trump got done quickly!
