It is no surprise what is going on. In my opinion, I believe the Republicans are going to get trounced in the 2026 mid-terms, not so much because of Trump, but because of the alarming ineptitude of the GOP controlled house and senate, I mean really what has the GOP controlled house and senate done??? Give the Democrats credit, they are unified in what they do, the GOP, they are too busy infighting and betraying their voter base, there is no real motivation to vote for Republicans.

Trump is not only having to battle the Democrats, he is also fighting RINOs as well. If the stupid party, also known as the GOP was as unified as the Democrats, then they would have accomplished more and would most likely hold onto their majorities in 2026.

To call the GOP house and senate pathetic would in their case be considered a compliment. The GOP base is disgusted and while they would come out in droves to vote for Trump again (I know, he can't run for a 3rd term), but since we can't officially vote for him, the base has seen what a joke the GOP house and senate is, they lack the motivation to go out and vote.
