The trade agreement which Trump negotiated with Canada and Mexico contains a clause saying that no party could unilaterally issue tariffs except for matters of trade, so already Trump is refusing to abide by agreements he signed.

This is how Trump went bankrupt 7 times - refusing to abide by Agreements, trying to screw over everyone he does business with. Lying to the customers about his ability to deliver.

Trump can't bully foreign manufacturers into locating in the USA, because Trump cannot be trusted to abide by his agreements. Laws and the Constitution mean NOTHING to him, and business doesn't trust Trump, and with good reason.

Poilievre is unlikely to get a majority in any case, since only 43% of voters will vote Conservative - at best. He will need the support of either the Bloc Quebecois, or the NDP to form a government, and if they even slightly piss off the left, their government will fall and an election will be called.
