Actually, that's not true. Police kill 1000 people a year. Drunk drivers kill 30 people a day, so in a month, about 900. So they kill more people a MONTH than cops kill a year. But here's the thing. Drunk drivers are held accountable when they drive drunk, even when they don't kill anyone. Even blowing a little above the limit is enough to turn your whole fucking life upside down.

So, if you want to use that example, Derek Chauvin or Jason van Dyke would have been fired from being cops the FIRST time they abused the civil rights of a black person (They both had about 20 or so prior complaints). Heck, they should fire cops for just using the N-word, because they MIGHT escalate up to killing a suspect.

So your argument fails on both math and logic.

No, real gun laws with real teeth are what they have in the UK, Japan, most European countries.
