After my last marriage I have a hard fast rule. Any woman I'm with will be one I could beat up. I never have hit a woman, and I never will, but if I ever get into the situations, I had with that last wife, I at least want to be able to defend myself to some degree.

I am sorry she had to go through that ((Dementia)) and you had to deal with it as it happened.

She probably wasn't the woman you knew when the encounter took place.

The last few years before she died she wasn't the same.
Major pain in the ass.
I just kept waking up and feeling sad because I knew she wasn't going to be like her old self.

I'd still take her like that...than having to deal with life without her.
