To be fair. NEITHER McDonnell nor Deeds is offering ANYTHING even close to new ideas. Although I will admit that if you go to McDonnell's website, you will find Socialism written all over it with his intent to give big business government assistance.

Problem with the right is most are not true conservatives. Conservatism is the only thing that can save the USA.

A true conservative would rebuild our industry, demand all we consume be "Made in the USA"

Real conservatives dont tell people what to buy. I dont know what people mean by rule from the center. People have a tendancy to think just because I oppose the center or left that I supported Bush, I hated Bush. He did one thing good and he did that half-assed, that was the wars.

Conservatism is small government, I saw through out all the politicians in congress. Both sides, they are both corrupt. They have to much power. I dont think there are any conservatives in the Republican party.

McCain lost largely because he embraced big government solutions (TARP in this case) while Obama appeared to shy away from that one in anyway. You beat the worst candidate since Bob Dole by a mere 4% with an economy that was dead in the water and picked up several seats in Congress by nominating candidates that played to the right of the Republican incumbents and you act as though the left won a stunning victory. I'd laugh if you weren't so damn pitiable.

About not being conservative enough.... there are many brands of conservative... some are morally, economically, theoretically, or a variety of kinds of conservative and that's alright. You are not the ultimate conservative... there are things you would not agree with from another conservative but that does not make you or him less "conservative", just different.
