A widely-cited recent study claiming hydroxychloroquine was ineffective and deadly if used to treat the coronavirus was retracted this week.

That sham study was breathlessly touted to attack President Trump, who noted that numerous physicians had successfully treated COVID-19 patients with the anti-malaria drug.

Dr. Marc Siegel of New York University’s Langone Hospital blasted the left’s shameless “political hit job,” saying they intentionally discredited a potentially promising drug just to smear Trump.

Dr. Siegel’s 96-year-old father was cured of COVID-19 after taking hydroxychloroquine on the advice of his physician.

Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson remarked: “For a while there, it looked like hydroxychloroquine might be an effective treatment for the coronavirus. And then the President mentioned the drug. And for that reason, the press suddenly told you it was dangerous.”

Dead citizens are just collateral damage in the war against President Trump.
This is the Democrat Strategy for victory in November -
Seems odd, but -

  • The antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine is being widely promoted as a “cure” for COVID-19, but we still lack good data on its true benefits.
  • Some small clinical trials have shown possible benefits. But others have shown the opposite.
  • Complicating matters, two major studies have been retracted over issues with data.
  • The FDA reissued a warning that people shouldn’t take the drug without a doctor’s supervision.

The only reason why this matters is because Trump promoted it and his legions of worshippers came to his defense regardless of the medical evidence. That's what cults do.

I wonder if they are going to smear all the Doctors and nurses who took low dose HCQ to keep from contracting COVID-19 as Trump did?

What is stunning to me is there are 6 or more studies of over 1,500 people where the drug pair HCQ and Azythromycin were 91.2 % effective. Even the Fauci touted drug is only 80% effective that costs 100 times more..

Carlson recounted: “They promoted a study that suggested hydroxychloroquine could really hurt people. Now that study has been retracted. Why? Because it was fraudulent.”

The Lancet has retracted the fake study that singlehandedly led to the suspension of HCQ trials and a ban on the use of HCQ for Covid-19 in France, Italy and other countries. https://t.co/qH4n54JAxS

Dr. Siegel explained: “On May 19th, the President announced that he was taking hydroxychloroquine. The media wolves descended. And Lancet –a renowned medical journal — soon afterward published a study saying it hastened death and had severe side effects. Everybody was concerned.”
“Then we found out that Lancet was relying on fraudulent data by this company called Surgisphere. Surgisphere has just a handful of employees. One is an adult-content model and another one writes science fiction for a living.
Surgisphere claimed that they have one of the best hospital databases in the world, but they have no Internet presence whatsoever.
So Lancet — this renowned journal, with egg on its face — suddenly withdrew the study [this week].”

There is definitely a cult involved -
I don't think that it's who you think it is.

They will smear anyone, if they believe it will help paint President Trump in a bad light.
They are a smear-Cult.

When are editors of the Lancet going to learn their lesson? If the authors do not provide the raw data with the SI to be scrutinized by their peers, it's a joke to present it as peer-reviewed literature.

The Lancet has been burned like this before with Wakefield's infamous MMR vaccine and autism study, where he just made up the data to support RFK jr's bogus lawsuits.

In most instances actual science betrays the lefts agenda.

They know their base is stupid. They lack the critical thinking skills necessary to discern junk science from sound science. Kinda the same way they cannot discern a factual news report from fake news.
