Those in the audience were doing the right thing - nothing. You're supposed to remain at attention until told to "At Ease." You don't cheer the guy walking in.

I think the guy that asked the audience to cheer was Admiral Mullen, who in my opinion, did nothing inappropriate.

I think he was trying to lighten things up a bit.

The only time it should be mandatory for armed service members to EVER salute the commander and chief would be if the man actually served in the military.

Quite frankly I'd go to prison before I saluted such a "community organizer."

McCain was only a, fighter pilot that was shot down and held as a POW held by the communist Viet Cong guerrillas for 6 years and tortured daily. Then you have this stupid motherfucker Obama who was a "community organizer" which is code word for socialism.

Quite frankly If I was McCain I'd have challenged Obama to a duel in 2009.
