The reality was in a totally other way. Chancellor Angela Merkel offered Donald Trump to make an LNG terminal (costs: ~ 1 billion Euro) when this Putin slave criticized the German peace politics. Trump did not agree. When Joe Biden had been president indeed one or two LNG terminals had been made. Meanwhile from time to time some LNG comes, I heard, and I also heard this deliveries are not really important.
The real problem: The machine gun liar Donald Trump lies faster than anyone is able to correct his lies - so no one tries to do so any longer. Words are just smoke and mirrors anyway. And Trump extraordinary wastes a lot of hot air by speaking continuously destabilizing nonsense.

Incidentally, I have learned that Trump's plan is working and that German car manufacturers are being forced to relocate to the United States. (15% tariffs for German cars made in Germany, 0% tariffs for German cars made in the USA - also in Europe).
So what? We'll just buy Chinese cars instead.
... Except the US-American tyranny will find a way to force the Chinese not to sell their cars in Germany or us not to buy this cars.
... But you will find a nukeful way to force us together with Europe including Putin and the rest of the mad world.

I didn't want to say it, but let's face it. Europeans are like farm animals. Y'all are mostly peaceful and very useful. Once in a while one country or another goes ferrel and has to be put down.
The U.S. winds up with the burden. Can't expect Farm animals to police themselves. That was the history of the 20th century.
But in the age of nukes, we cannot go through another would upheaval. So, we have to nip it in the bud. Nip, nip, nip it in the bud.
