Mayor Pete blames Trump for Ohio train derailment. Touts his record of improving rail safety.

I agree, just saying that it is a shame so many people are so shallow that they wouldn’t vote for a guy simply because they believed he was a poo-poo head.

What good is electing someone that can't get anything done because he was a dick?

Of course that wasnt the issue. The Democrats weren’t going to work with anyone that didn’t appease their wokeness. If DeSantis wins in 2024, you will see the same strategy employed. I guess you can then once again claim that it is because he is a jerk. At some point you must come to the realization that todays Democrats have the mindset of it is their way or the highway. Any opinion with which they don’t agree is misinformation. They are dangerous.

Trump couldn't get anything done because hardly anyone would work with him.

Biden overturned some EO's. EO's are the realm of the lazy. Those who won't put in the work to get things passed.
How many “lazy” Barry Hussein EOs did Trump overturn?

That Biden bid to blame Trump for the Ohio train wreck is falling apart

24 Feb 2023 ~~ By Monica Showalter

The Biden administration has the East Palestine, Ohio, toxic train wreck all figured out.
Just blame Trump.
No wonder it hasn't done jack for the battered Ohio community, whose residents had to flee their homes based on toxic fumes from the wreck, and who continue to fear for their safety as officials assure them that all's safe. After all, there's no evidence these guys actually care if they get poisoned.
Why should they? If it happens, they will blame Trump.
Here's how bad it is, according to a splendid editorial from Issues & Insights titled "Amtrak Joe couldn't be bothered to visit a train wreck":
Official word from the White House accuses “congressional Republicans and former Trump administration officials” for selling out “to rail industry lobbyists when they dismantled the Obama-Biden rail safety protections as well as EPA powers to rapidly contain spills.” The administration believes Trump, who beat Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (who is utterly useless) to the site, and GOP lawmakers, owe “East Palestine an apology.”
“Congressional Republicans laid the groundwork for the Trump administration to tear up requirements for more effective train brakes,” Andrew Bates, a deputy White House press secretary, ranted on Wednesday, “and last year most House Republicans wanted to defund our ability to protect drinking water.”
The must-read editorial points out that even the press -- you read that right -- the press, is pointing out what nonsense these claims are, starting with USAToday:
“Jennifer Homendy, who chairs the National Transportation Safety Board, said the brake rule would not have prevented the East Palestine derailment because it was proposed for ‘high-hazard flammable’ trains carrying 20 or more loaded tank cars. The train that derailed did not meet that threshold,” writes USA Today’s Joey Garrison.
~Snip~
Yelling that Trump did it only stands in the way of actually finding out what happened. And that has got to be obvious to residents, who already know that the Bidenites don't care about them based on their cavalier attitude toward their return to their toxic-infused homes.
Now word is getting out to everyone else: Blaming Trump for this mess, amid a slow response from the Bidenites, (and a fast one from Trump himself, who sent water and burgers to residents), is not working as a spin narrative anymore. It's falling apart. Seems the biggest train wreck here is the Biden administration's credibility. That's obvious enough in their 'blame-Trump' response.

Commentary:
The Quisling MSM has already parroted the claims of Joey Xi Bai Dung and his parrot Buttigieg. The low information voters who support them will never read anything let along something counter to the narrative.
It’s never a good idea to give authority to someone whose only known skill is flaunting his LGBT lifestyle. Mr. Buttigieg’s Woker-Than-Thou fetishes have nothing to do with a safe and reliable transportation grid. Fire him already.
The NTSB slammed dunked the lies, I have to imagine they will be reorganizing their leadership due to this blatant honesty.
I will skip the foul language I really feel, and simply say, with 100% truth possible that Democrats, Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, and the Maoist Democrats are nothing but “Empty Suits” from head to toe...period!!! They both should be immediately impeached, fired, removed, thrown out, from public office by the American People and their Weak Sister Congress.
Wake up, Wise up!!! The future of our once great, powerful nation rests in your hands. Most of you have stood by, doing nothing, letting these ideological Maoist Democrats destroy our military, both in personnel and armaments!!!

Mayor Pete is an officious little hall monitor who keeps failing up. Hopefully he has reached Peak Pete with this horrible tragedy.

There is literally nothing this regime won't try to blame on Trump. Nothing.

When will this regime stop trying to blame Trump for every disaster on their watch?

We’re constrained by law on some areas of rail regulation (like the braking rule withdrawn by the Trump administration in 2018 because of a law passed by Congress in 2015), but we are using the powers we do have to keep people safe. https://enotrans.org/article/dot-withdraws-ecp-brake-rule/…

We are making historic investments on rail safety through funding in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, work that accelerates this year and continue in the years to come.

The New York Times acknowledged in a recent report that the Biden administration’s claims that former President Donald Trump’s administration was responsible for the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, due to it rolling back a rail safety rule was inaccurate. “The White House has pushed back on such criticism from Republicans, accusing both the Trump administration and Republican lawmakers of dismantling the Obama-era rail safety measures meant to prevent episodes like the East Palestine derailment,” the Times report said. “According to the website PolitiFact, a rail safety rule repealed as part of a broad regulatory rollback under the Trump administration would have had no impact

Unfortunately, brain dead Bidenista Cultist lap it up with a spoon. Just look at this, and other, threads here.

Morons.

All three's actions should have demanded and required the best safety equipment on these trains. All failed by not doing that.
Again, they had to look at cost/benefit. In hindsight, we know they should have used ecp on this train, but at the time, they looked at what they thought was needed, and it was determined it wasn’t warranted, for the cost, for this type of train, because it didn’t carry enough hazardous materials.

Again, because of that, you can’t really blame any of the presidents because they were just going off the recommendations of the people who did the study.

Business never thinks it's needed.

Possibly, but this is not really the fault of any president, for this incident…that’s all I’m getting at

Regulations should have been put in place long ago without any input from the railroad companies.

So what you're tryin to say is that the problems existed long before DJT was president.

CNN Guest Drops Truth Bomb on Democrats Ignoring American Suffering in East Palestine Because They Voted for Trump

27 Feb 2023 ~~ By Jim Hoft

Former Democratic Ohio State Senator Nina Turner appeared on CNN’s State of the Union with Dana Bash, along with CNN Political Commentator David Urban, Former Biden Speechwriter Jeff Nussbaum, and CNN Political Commentator Kristen Soltis Anderson, to discuss the recent train derailment in Ohio and whether or not Biden should be challenged for the Democratic nomination for turning a blind eye on the tragedy.
During the discussion, Nina Turner slammed the Democrats for politicizing the tragedy in East Palestine and for turning a blind eye to the suffering of the locals because of their support for Trump.
“For the neoliberals who say that the residents of that area deserve what they are getting because they voted for President Donald J. Trump. It is abhorrent. This is about poverty,” said Turner.
“This is about poor working-class white people who are enduring some of the same things that poor working-class black people endure. And so I want to lay it out that the cultist behavior in politics right now – it is a sin and a shame that when people are suffering to this magnitude, you got people who will… say that they are getting what they deserve. What they deserve is clean air, clean food, clean water. They deserve relief both in the short term and also in the long term.”

Commentary:
Nina Turner’s comment is an example of common decency, a quality that used to be more common in America. Contrast that with Joy Behar’s recent comments where she rejoiced over the harm done to the community (which includes every baby, child, adult, pet, livestock, and wild animal) due to ideology. It doesn’t get much ideologically sicker than that.
Lest we forget our foreign Red Diaper baby president Barry Soetoro telling us:
"'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us"
Cass Sunstein wrote a book called "Nudge", which is about making life difficult on those that disagree in order to 'Nudge' them in the direction they want to take the world.
Vladimir Lenin once said, "The worse, the better"
Maoist Communists will do anything in their power to inflict pain on their political enemies, because they believe it will help motivate the people to change and the Communists will be there waiting in the wings to swoop in and be that change. Proof in the pudding is the millions of souls Mao Zedong killed in his years as CCP Leader.
