Remember when Trump said COVID would be gone by summer in 2020?
Widespread belief that the COVID vaccine was deadly lead to fewer people getting vaccinated and hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths. We saw a lot of changes in people during COVID, especially those who were far more concerned about their own comfort than the lives of others. We saw conservatives en masse ignore the deaths of hundreds of thousands because they were old and useless.
We saw charlatans like RFK Jr telling people lies to line his pockets with money. We saw quacks take center stage and taken seriously despite their complete lack of expertise.
I remember Trump debating Biden in their first Presidential debate telling the world that a vaccine was just around the corner, as Joe Biden laughed saying he was lying. I then remember Kamala saying that if the Trump vaccine came out she would not be taking it, because it came from him.
Then about a week after the election, Big Pharma came out with the vaccine, mysteriously waiting until Trump lost the election as the media blamed Trump for doing NOTHING about Covid and blaming him for every death from Covid.
Of course, Joe and Kamala both got the shot, not commenting on the fact that Trump was the major catalyst for it coming out as soon as it did, and then demanding we all get the shot.
The thing is, I lived through it, so it does you zero good to lie about it.
I don't think Trump would have mandated everyone get the shot, as only Blue states were the most fascistic regarding mandating the shot and masks. Democrats own that, as they own people who suffered from the shot with zero compensation, only to then be cut off social media when they talked to friends and family about how the shot harmed them, with some even dying from the shot.
In fact, I know one lady who got debilitating headaches from the shot, to the point she could not work. Of course, she only got the shot because she would have lost her job had she not gotten the shot. She told me she remembers asking medical staff if the shot caused her horrible never ending migraines, and the fear on their face as if not knowing what to say, or maybe saying the wrong thing and maybe losing their jobs because of it. It's almost like living in Nazi Germany, the kind of fear about saying the wrong thing to the wrong person, even if you thought it was true. After it was all said and done, the doctor took her privately aside and confided in her that it was probably the shot and not to get another. Luckily, after about 3 months the headaches subsided and she was able to work again, but many were not so lucky.
And I will never forget Trump stopping all planes from China so as not to spread the virus to America when it first came on the scene. The democrats lambasted him, of course, for being xenophobic and saying there was nothing to fear from Covid. I even remember Nancy Pelosi dancing in the streets of Chinatown in San Fran saying that Trumps fear about Covid were all based upon racism, as she proudly paraded around without even a mask.
Of course, things quickly changed as people began to die from the virus in mass. Then Democrat went to the other extreme and closed down the entire world, only to see democrats like Newsom opening a restaurant for his private use wearing no masks, or Nancy Pelosi opening a hair dresser for her own private use while other could not do the same.
Sweden, of all places, did things correctly, which was to continue life the best they could and not mandate anything.
Had the world done the same, inflation would not have been as severe as it was.
I'm still mad as hell about all of it.
