Second, the bizarre circumstance of sending trump's former defense attorney and current deputy AG, who still regards himself as trump's attorney, to interview her instead of someone from the US Attorney's office in the Southern District of FL raises all kinds of red flags. Third, Maxwell was rewarded for not implicating Don in anything nefarious by being moved to a minimum security facility in TX. This, in violation of the Bureau of Prisons policy stating sex offenders are not eligible to be placed in that kind of prison.
But according to the bureau's designation policy, Maxwell appears ineligible to be housed at a minimum-security prison camp because she is a convicted sex offender.
Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's associate who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex, was being held at a facility in Florida.

Despite the fact that Maxwell had just openly mentioned Epstein associates as being in Trump’s current cabinet, Blanche – a hardened lawyer not known for missing a trick in trial argument – did not pause to ask Maxwell to identify the cabinet members she was referring to.
Which explains why Todd was sent to FL to do the interview. An attorney who wasn't as familiar with the purpose of the interview as Todd might have asked who she was referring to.
