There were a lot of problems. But I think a better QB could have taken advantage of JJ's skills.

He was a top 5 guy (stats wise) every year except 2-3 during Jones tenure and never out of the top 10. Not sure who they were going to get that was much better. There were better QB's out there for sure, but Im not sure how much of an upgrade they would have been, and the cost to get them would certainly been prohibitive I would guess. Jones had a good career, he was a top 1-2 guy for 4-5 years. That's incredible for a WR.
