Damn, thank God I didn't stay in NYC. Years ago, Jamaica Queens used to be my second home (I had a lot of friends there), and I thought nothing of taking the E train out to Parsons Blvd., much less walking the streets at night, not that there wasn't crime then, but it wasn't senseless, violent crime like this.

This brutal attack occurred at 11:10 p.m. in the New York Subway. The city needs to consider closing the subway at an earlier hour. Nothing good happens at night in the NYC subways. Shutting them down at 7 p.m. makes a lot of sense to prevent this kind of thing from reoccurring .
