Wrong. The books were included in the Greek Septuagint and accepted by Jews at the time of Christ.

The same Church that existed before the 6th century was the same that existed after the 6th century.

So you still can’t explain how the church believed in things like intercession, praying for dead souls in purgatory, for all those centuries, then the Protestants just proclaim it isn’t a thing.

How can the Protestant church be “the real church” if it was built on 15 centuries of “heresy”?

I’m a former Protestant so I have heard all these arguments.
Why do Catholics have to lie? The books I’m talking about are those not included in Protestant Bibles. Do you know which ones those are? The Apocryphal books. Not written through apostles or prophets. Yet cannonized by the Catholic Church. The sign of apostasy.

I’m not Protestant. They have 1Peter chapters 3 and 4. By the way, just praying for them doesn’t help. They need to be baptized. Why did the Catholic Church stop baptizing for the dead? It’s required to enter into the Kingdom of God. 1Corinthians 15:29. Another sign of apostasy by changing the ordinance from vicarious baptisms for the dead to just praying for them. Satan loved that one. Stopped people from the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Protestant churches are not the “real” Church of Jesus Christ because they came out of a dead apostate church. That’s why a restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ is necessary in these the latter days.

What are you talking about? The deuterocanonical books were in the Greek Septuagint, the Catholic Church never claimed they were from prophets. They were called “second cannon” since the Jews at that time chose to have them in their Tanakh.

Hebrew speaking Jews did not want to accept them, as they only wanted books in Hebrew. But the majority of Jews at that time spoke Greek and did use them.

That is Mormon mumble jumbo. You cannot baptize a dead person.

And just because you are baptized doesn’t mean you’re going to heaven.

Baptism is the normal way to become a citizen of the church and to be saved, this does not limit God from saving souls even if they are not baptized. Example, the thief on the cross that accepted Christ and Jesus told him he would be in paradise that day.

Once a person has chosen the path of God and intends to be baptized, they are “the elect”. If they die before their actual baptism they will considered the same as baptized.

Thanks for proving you are a ridiculous cult member of “Latter Day Saints.” Full blown heretic.

I’m guessing it will be a heretical rendition of the Virgin Mary.

She never once counted the person cost in all she did for God. She never once sinned. She succeeded where Eve failed. Eve’s fruit gave us eternal death, Mary’s fruit gives us eternal life. This is why the devil and demons hate her more than even Jesus. They couldn’t corrupt her.

It sounds like you follow the false system of Catholicism.

Can somebody please tell me if Mary was sinless then why did we even need Jesus?
In the beginning, Adam and Eve were sinless...until Eve disobeyed God and led Adam into sin as well. Woman and man were sinless, and through disobedience came to the knowledge of sin and evil. The woman was called Eve because she became the mother of all the living.

Jesus was called the new Adam, the man without sin, obedient to death on the cross. There is a huge whole in the story if we don't recognize that if there was a new Adam, there must have been a new Eve. Who was the woman without sin, the one who also chose obedience? At that time it was unusual--but not unheard of--for a few men and women to take a vow of chastity for life. It appears that Mary and Joseph made such a vow, and that explains Mary's question to the angel. How could she bear a child since she was under a vow not to know man.

If she were to become pregnant after making this vow...she knew the law. Joseph would repudiate her and she and her vow would become the laughingstock of the community. Yet her obedience to God took priority. "Let it be done to me..."

We have both woman and man who chose sin (the woman first); we have both woman and man choosing obedience (the woman first). Jesus has two natures: human and divine--whereas Mary has only human nature. Eve became the mother of all the living, and Mary (the second Eve) became the mother of the Church.

Adam and Eve in the Fall of mankind. Jesus and Mary in the redemption of mankind. The Fall of mankind began with Eve's disobedience. The redemption/salvation of mankind began with Mary's obedience to God. The two stories tie together.

What more opportune moment for some propaganda sugar ?

Poor Mary , the Mum .
Not violated by the Nephilim Gabriel but made pregnant by God's senior Angel. Via magic , of course .

And the Magdalene , Mary ?

Just an Essene who married within her belief .
Promoted to cult status and suddenly just good friends with the Son of the Universe .

And people have believed that crackpot story and all the Fake history for over 2000 years .

Try Barbara Thiering's , "Jesus the Man" and stretch your mind .

Admit it , Cultists .

You are obedient slaves because if you read such books you are listening to Satan and are damned .
rofl .

Presenting one's own beliefs and experiences vs. tearing down the beliefs and experiences of others. Those who choose the latter have chosen to build their 'religion forum house' on sand. Their fear is that their own beliefs/experiences built on sand cannot stand the light of day either.

Also...a wrong assumption is to think that many others on this forum have not only read--but have studied--the historical Jesus, the human man who lived here on earth, a human in the midst of humans.

Not slaves, but friends, living in the freedom grace and love bestows.

Recommendation: Stop tearing at the beliefs of others and--if they are worthwhile--begin presenting your own.

Netflix is cashing-in on the billion+ Catholics around the world that engage in idĂłlatras worship of Mary, the faithful SERVANT of God who is the one-and-only eternal being.

Here comes the Catholic nonsense. The beginning of the great apostasy that lasted for almost 2 millennia. She was a sinner. Stupid Catholics.
Catholics don't pay much attention to minor religious sects that need to attack the dominant religion of the land to make their irrelevant beliefs relevant.

Well, although I don't believe exactly the same way you do at least you made it make sense to me.

Jesus had several brothers, you know.

Just take me at face value .
No time or interest in duplicity .
I have stated my beliefs based on historical facts .

Jesus was an Essene who was not crucified -- rescued off the cross by Joseph of Arimathea .
He recovered , married the Magdalene .
They had three children and though they divorced , Jesus preached with his elder son until he died in Asia Minor in the early sixties AD .

Your Bible is therefore manipulated invention . A load of fantasy. And you a Cultist .

If you cannot handle intelligent criticism you must be shallow .
I could not care a monkey what you believe .
I simply suggest an alternative which stands up to investigation, whereas your narrative is full of deception and manipulation .
IMHO .

Wrong. The term translated to “brother” is a Greek word (Adelphos) that applies to male relatives, such as step brothers, cousins, or even countrymen, not just blood brothers.
I have read The Bible 3x. No.
You are wrong.
"James and Joseph and Simon and Judas" <<Jesus' brothers.

Jesus had several brothers, you know.
Do a little more research. Joseph had a brother named Clopas who was married to a woman named Mary (the 'other Mary' at the crucifixion. Their children are named in the Bible and early Christian writings. They were sons of Joseph's brother (Clopas), his nephews and Jesus' cousins (or 'brethren') as it was in the Bible.
