As I said qualified absentee ballots, aren't the same as replacing voting in person to voting by mail. Whether this guy was right in just showing up and demanding to be let in can only be determined by Georgia election law. You can't just mosey on in and make everybody trip over you. I don't know about the Georgia rules, but laws in other states require a poll watcher to obtain credentials from the county political party and be certified. There were limits on how many people can be present from each party.

There is an ignorant idea growing in this country that everyone can just make up any rules they like and ignore the ones they don't. This is not the way it works.

Meadows did not go there as any representative of the United States Government. He went as a representative of a private politic party and candidate. I assume without researching that a state must solicit the help of the federal government if state officials determine that there is a problem before the feds are allowed in.

I don't think that Georgia officials asked for help. The deputy attorney general even met him in the hallway and denied him passage. Even if they did, it would come from some area of the Justice Department, not somebody on the White House staff.

Meadows had no right to be there.

Moreover, right up to this present moment, there has been no evidence of any "massive voter fraud." This is just an empty phrase repeated constantly. It's laughable to maintain on one hand that you know that such voter fraud is occurring and then complain in the next second that you have to get in there and see for yourself whether it is occurring. How would you know?
