Barr already said he would release it by mid-April at the latest. The Congress then demanded an arbitrary April 2 and threw a fit when it wasn't ready.
This is totally stupid.

i think barr auditioned for the job by writing an 18 page essay on why he thinks trump is above the law. the AG has the prerogative to show as much or as little as he wants.

Mueller did not find evidence of criminality on the collusion issue. He laid out the evidence on the obstruction question, and Barr made the final call as was his prerogative. I do not trust Barr, either. He was put in place to "protect the President" as Trump has been griping about for two years. Of course, that is not the AG's job, but hey--this is the Trump presidency.

See, the thing is, Trump won the catbird seat and he was able to manipulate things around until he got Barr where he wanted him and now Barr has done what Trump wanted him to do, and he did it legally. The Democrats in the Congress may look at the evidence and come to a different conclusion, but it won't change the underlying facts, will it? THAT is why I don't think further investigations are warranted. There are fair Republicans also calling for the entire report to be released, and I hope it is, too.

barr could make that judgement call about prosecution... but impeachment is out of his jurisdiction & article of impeachment do not have to rise to the level of criminality. barr is trying to take that out of a co-equal branch of govt's hands. congress cannot do it's job without all information.
