There is another 30 days extension that can be used. It is widely believed the war powers act is not constitutional.

You are right though time is passing. All time were Trump has not achieved any of his goals. Not regime change, not an agreement on them not enriching uranium, sure as hell not the "liberation" of the Iranian people.

All he has shown, is that the US navy is not capable of opening up the straight if Iran chooses to contest it. Something I'm sure Iran and even China will note with great interest.

He has shown all allies in the middle East that when push comes to shove the US and its hardware is not capable of protecting them from attack.

It is not that I disagree with any issue with Iran. It is just that if Republicans lose the House and Senate in November, we are so screwed. it was a struggle before the conflict to keep prices stabilized. We are going to have to hope that people voting keep the faith.

The problem with that though is that it detaches ideology from objective results.

-Inflation becomes acceptable because the alternative is a Democrat.
-High gas prices is a price you are willing to pay because the alternative is a Democrat.
-The Trump administration can litterally punish companies that don't walk the ideological line. A thing that is as Communist as it comes but it's ok because the alternative is a... Progressive, Socialist, Communist.


So don't trust me all you want, but in the end the reality of what THIS President has, and is causing doesn't give a damn about what ideology a person has. It will hit both of us.
