Mandatory Military Service, and Mandatory Gun Ownership!

Yet explain why with so many guns, gun homicides in The US Per Capita are only 0.00005%.

I Nazi the point you are trying to make.

Countries that do this, not only have an extremely low incidence of Crime, but their Citizens get training in The Military and become far more employable. They also receive benefits like tuition assistance etc. which helps them further their education.

Rather than retreat from the issue of a lone lefty loon here and there who like to shoot unarmed kids, or concert goers, or Congressmen at a softball game, we need to confront the issue with proven solutions.

For those that want to know and cannot do the math using the figures cited below, gun homicides in The US Per Capita are only 0.00005%.

The Swiss Difference: A Gun Culture That Works | TIME.com

Switzerland trails behind only the U.S, Yemen and Serbia in the number of guns per capita; between 2.3 million and 4.5 million military and private firearms are estimated to be in circulation in a country of only 8 million people. Yet, despite the prevalence of guns, the violent-crime rate is low: government figures show about 0.5 gun homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in 2010. By comparison, the U.S rate in the same year was about 5 firearm killings per 100,000 people, according to a 2011 U.N. report.

Unlike some other heavily armed nations, Switzerland’s gun ownership is deeply rooted in a sense of patriotic duty and national identity. Weapons are kept at home because of the long-held belief that enemies could invade tiny Switzerland quickly, so every soldier had to be able to fight his way to his regiment’s assembly point. (Switzerland was at risk of being invaded by Germany during World War II but was spared, historians say, because every Swiss man was armed and trained to shoot.)
There is an easier, pro-freedom alternative.

Make high school gun safety and use training courses mandatory classes for graduation.

Nobody has to give up their freedom (like compulsory service) and everybody learns and becomes familiar with firearms.

Why should they have to? Only 3% of Americans have guns.
No sure where you got your 3% from?
The real number are

Militia members, referred to as "every citizen, so enrolled and notified", "...shall within six months thereafter, provide himself..." with a musket, bayonet and belt, two spare flints, a cartridge box with 24 bullets, and a knapsack. Men owning rifles were required to provide a powder horn, ¼ pound of gunpowder, 20 rifle balls, a shooting pouch, and a knapsack.[5]Some occupations were exempt, such as congressmen, stagecoach drivers, and ferryboatmen.

Maybe we could create a firearms library so if you cannot afford a gun, you can check one out. Everyone should abide by The Militia Act

Mandatory military service won't work, not with today's youth. We have the most powerful military in the history of the world because its a professional, all volunteer force. I wouldn't want to serve with someone who was forced to do so.

I don't think this is any better than forcing people to buy health insurance. But education would good. Mandatory gun safety and marksmanship classes in high school could go a long way.

Who is paying for the facilities?

Sorry, 30%.

A 2017 poll by the Pew Research Center found that the amount of Americans who actually own a gun themselves is at about 30% of the country's citizens.

But, half of all privately owned guns are owned by a mere 3%. That's disturbing.

How many Americans actually own a gun? A 2016 study by Harvard and Northeastern University put the total number of privately-owned firearms in the U.S. at 265 million, with more than half of that - 133 million - being concentrated in the hands of just 3% of Americans, called "super owners," who have an average of 17 guns each.

Most people with sense are going to tell pollsters to go fuck themselves and tell the pollsters they don’t have guns even if they do.

The liberal media and liberal groups pay for these polls so why cooperate with them?

Hillary in a landslide!

99% chance she’ll be president!

All hogwash.

Why would anyone with a shred of common sense tell someone how many guns they own when the person listening already has access to their phone number and thus their address through reverse look-up. Want somebody to break in your house and steal your guns? Just tell them how many you have!

This fails as a false comparison fallacy.

Actually The Militia Act was Mandatory Ownership of Firearms so it’s already on the books pinhead.

All Citizen Males of fighting age were required to report with a serviceable firearm and ammo within 6 months of being called up.

In America we have freedom.

so no, we will not support mandatory anything.
well since I don't own a firearm nor have any ammo, I'll wait at the door for the cops to come get me.
