This is why we tell the anti-gun loons that mandatory gun storage laws are unConstitutional....besides the Supreme Court already ruling in Heller.....

The petition alleges that Sheriff Kilkenny “has implemented a policy…which he contends, based on the PSP’s promulgation and implementation of (the regulation) permit him, in the absence of probable cause and a warrant and in violation of…the Pennsylvania Constitution, to come into those…homes or business.”

If I lived in PA I would have my lawyer on speed dial ,refuse entry without a warrant and sue the shit out of everyone involved down to the lowest file clerk.

While you would think a licensed gun dealer would properly store and safeguard their weapons, the dealer in that state or any other should not have to submit to warrantless searches, much less search and seizures.

you left out the most important part

Plaintiffs further assert this inspection enables the sheriff to impose sanctions against holders of state licenses to sell firearms “for not having ‘safe storage’” in the event of an emergency when the PSP has “failed to promulgate any regulations addressing what constitute ‘safe storage’ or sufficient safeguards…when the General Assembly only delegated to the PSP the ability to establish such standards.”

Going after businesses.
I do not agree with the policy, and they are not going "door to door" at this time.

The Capital Cop who shot and killed 'trespasser" Ashli Babbitt was guilty of careless handling of a firearm when he left a loaded weapon in the men's room. If you want to put a civilian in jail for having a weapon in a drawer you have to use the same logic in the conduct of federal cops.
Ashli was leading an insurrection

I remember about 10 years ago when we lived in a boro of Pittsburgh, and the red Cross suddenly was going from door to door in a very organized sweep, offering to install smoke detectors in all houses. It sounded like a "good deed"....but there was also something creepy about how they went about it. This was at the height of Obama's rein. They somehow weren't really very friendly and exuded bureaucracy from every pore. We already had several detectors so I just said "no thanks, we're good". I really had the distinct impression that it was a veiled attempt to gain access to the interiors of people's houses, maybe even install smoke detectors with spyware installed. It wouldn't be the first time "innocent" household electronics had been used.to spy on people. Knowing about the Democrats' history of being friendly with the Chinese, and knowing the Chinese's history of electronic spying on the general public, a real red flag went up in my mind.

Yes, all houses should have smoke detectors.

No, you shouldn't trust government sponsored agencies to install them for you.

Ashli was leading an insurrection
Ashli Babbitt was an "unarmed" female protester while this was a protest, this was in no way, an insurrection. Also, when people entered the Capitol, there is plenty of video now available that shows the so-called insurrectionists, being escorted by Capitol Police, while they literally WALK through the Capitol.
Insurrections involve heavily armed forces, rioting burning, looting, attacking and killing to change the government. Oh wait....that was Antifa and BLM.

Yep. Easy disarm and you lose privileges for life.

Clan 13 can have freedom of navigation to loot, pillage and rape with no fear of guns!

those smoke detectors had embedded subliminal messaging. "vote Democrat, vote Democrat"

Do you think that a crackhead user who lied on the federal firearms form, should be convicted of a felony, if found out?

Five to eight years

A conviction for lying on a federal form is punishable by five to eight years in federal prison.

You're not being very realistic about this... Unless you're just joking.... Which hopefully you are. There likely was a hidden message, not in the smoke detectors but in the act of so "gallantly" doing that for the peeps. Democrats always want to make you think they got your back while they're actually fucking you in the ass. Democrats are the best groomers in the world.

Ashli Babbit was leading an angry mob trying to attack the Congressional chambers with members of Congress inside.
She was warned to disperse and proceeded to try to access the chamber.
A brave Capitol Policeman stopped her and her mob disbursed. Thankfully, no members of Congress were harmed

Ashli was leading an insurrection
An 34 year old unarmed woman was "leading an insurrection"? Do lefties really believe her murder was justified because they hate Trump? The point is that the Capital Cop didn't even face diciplinary charges much less criminal charges for his careless handling of a firearm before he murdered the defenseless woman.

So you won't have an issue the next time one of the "mostly peaceful" protesters are attacking police and get popped. She was unarmed they could have used non-lethal.

Hunter got a get out of jail card for falsifying a firearms permit. The Capital Cop didn't even face an investigation for the killing of an unarmed woman but the rest of us face a possible invasion by federal police if we don't lock up are guns in the prescribed manner. Go figure.
