For some reason precautions to Covid were accepted throughout the world while being much less accepted by Americans.
That's an accepted 'given' by now. Possible reasons:

1. Americans being reluctant to accept suggestions due to political support of Trump's rejection of precautions and his choice of snake oil folk remedies over modern science.
